Who We Are

Batteries Etc. is a local battery shop in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We know batteries, and we know the boats, vehicles and equipment they power. Our primary focus is marine battery systems and installation for luxury yachts and boats, and we bring the same care to automotive, powersports, golf cart, RV, solar and commercial customers.

Founded in 2012 by Molly Berb, our business was built on a commitment to providing reliable, personalized service to the South Florida community. We started with a simple goal: to help our customers find the right solutions with honesty, quality, and care.

What We Do

Whether you need a straightforward replacement, a high-end AGM or GEL bank, a lithium conversion, or a complete marine battery system with the electrical work to match, our team delivers dependable products, clear guidance and careful installation.

  • Supply batteries from trusted manufacturers, matched to your application
  • Install and replace batteries on boats, vehicles, carts, RVs and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair weak batteries, charging problems and wiring faults
  • Upgrade from lead-acid to AGM, GEL or lithium, including golf cart lithium conversions
  • Travel to you for diagnostics, repairs and installations across South Florida

Our Marine Specialty

Boats are hard on batteries. Salt air, vibration, heat and long stretches at the dock all take a toll, and the stakes are higher when you're miles from shore. That is why marine battery systems and installation are our primary service. We work with owners and crews of luxury yachts and boats to select the right batteries, install them properly and keep the whole power system working together.

Our team looks beyond the battery itself. Charging equipment, switches, wiring and system layout all affect how long a battery bank lasts and how reliably it performs, so we treat the installation as a system, not a part swap.
